How close to the wall can the Benny sit?

The wall-hugger mechanism is designed to recline with only a few inches behind the chair, so it suits rooms where a standard recliner would hit the wall. Leave enough room for the power cord and outlet.

Is the Benny good for tall or heavy users?

It is a better fit for average-size adults. The seat is 19 in wide with a 250 lb capacity, so taller or heavier sitters should try it in person or look at a larger recliner.

Does it need to be plugged in?

Yes. Power recline runs on electricity, and the USB port only works when the chair is plugged in. There is no manual recline handle.

What is the seat height and depth?

The seat is 20 in high and 22 in deep, with a 19 in seat width. That suits most adults but is on the compact side.

Is $689.99 a good price for the Benny?

It is the best new price among the three stores listing it as of November 4, 2026. Power wall-hugger recliners from major brands often run higher, so this is a reasonable mid-market price.

Will it fit through a doorway?

The back removes, which helps it clear tight halls and doorways. The chair is 40 in wide and 115 lb, so plan for two people to move it.
