Is the Flosser 85526 worth $90.54?

It is a fair price for a branded D2R bulb, but not a bargain. Generic D2R bulbs often sell for $30 to $60 a pair, so you pay a premium for the exact Volvo cross-reference and 5000K color.

Will this fit my Volvo?

It fits cars that use D2R bulbs and Volvo part numbers 989833 or 982452. Check your owner's manual or the old bulb's stamp before ordering, because D2S and D2R are not interchangeable.

Should I replace one bulb or both?

Replace both. Xenon bulbs shift color and dim with age, so a new 5000K bulb next to an old one will look mismatched and uneven.

Do I need anything else to install it?

No. The P32d-3 connector plugs into the factory ballast. Handle the glass with gloves and avoid touching the bulb, since skin oils shorten xenon bulb life.

When is the price lowest?

With only one store selling it new, there is little price movement to wait for. Watch for Amazon promotions, but expect to pay close to $90.54.

Our take on the Flosser 85526 - 125255

The Flosser 85526 is a 35W D2R xenon HID bulb with a P32d-3 connector, made as a replacement for Volvo applications (part numbers 989833 and 982452). It burns at 5000K, a cool white that sits between factory 4300K and the bluer 6000K aftermarket bulbs. The best new price is $90.54 at Amazon as of November 5, 2026, and only one store lists it new, so there is no recent price range to compare against. D2R bulbs carry a glare shield for reflector housings, so this fits cars designed for D2R, not D2S projector lamps.
