Is the Pro SLX Carbon worth it over the standard Pro SLX?
The Carbon adds a carbon-fiber plate in the outsole for more torsional stability. If you want a firmer, more planted feel through the swing, it is worth the step up; if you prefer a softer, more flexible shoe, the standard Pro SLX is the better pick.
Are these shoes waterproof?
Yes. FootJoy builds the Pro SLX Carbon with a waterproof leather upper and backs it with a two-year waterproof warranty. Wipe them down and let them air dry after wet rounds.
