Our take on the Forno Salerno 15.6 Cu. Ft. Stainless Side by Side Refrigerator

The Forno Salerno is a 15.6 cu. ft. side-by-side refrigerator in stainless steel, sized at 33 inches wide and 70.1 inches tall. It is Energy Star rated and aimed at smaller kitchens where a full-width French door unit won't fit. At $1,199 at Home Depot as of November 5, 2026, it sits at the top of its recent range, so it is not a deal price right now.

Questions and answers

Is $1,199 a good price for the Forno Salerno?
It is the best new price across 4 stores as of November 5, 2026, but it sits at the top of the recent range. Waiting for a holiday sale is reasonable if you are not in a hurry.
Will it fit a 33-inch opening?
Yes. It is 33 inches wide and 70.1 inches high, so measure your opening and door swing before ordering. Leave clearance for ventilation at the back and sides.
How much food does 15.6 cu. ft. hold?
That is on the small side, roughly right for two or three people. Side-by-side shelves are narrow, so wide items like sheet pans and pizza boxes may not fit.
Is it Energy Star certified?
Yes. Energy Star certification means it meets federal efficiency guidelines, which matters for a refrigerator that runs all day.
What is in the box?
The refrigerator ships with its shelves and bins installed. Check the listing for door-handle hardware and whether an ice maker is included before you buy.
How does it compare with a French door fridge?
A French door model at the same width usually gives wider shelves and more usable space. Choose the Salerno if the side-by-side layout and price matter more.
Where is the Forno Salerno 15.6 Cu. Ft. Stainless Side by Side Refrigerator cheapest?
At Home Depot, for $1,199.00, as of our latest check.
What do buyers say about the Forno Salerno 15.6 Cu. Ft. Stainless Side by Side Refrigerator?
