Questions and answers

Is this Maytag side-by-side worth it at $1,299.99?
At $1,299.99 at Appliance Solutions as of November 5, 2026, it is a fair price for a 24.5 cu. ft. side-by-side with a dispenser. Compare it against Energy Star models if power use matters to you.
Will it fit a standard 36-inch fridge opening?
Yes. It is 36 inches wide and 69-5/8 inches tall, so check your opening and door swing clearance. It is 28 inches deep excluding doors, so it is not counter depth.
Does it have an ice maker and water dispenser?
Yes. Both are built into the door, and the freezer has an automatic defrost ice maker. You will need a water line plumbed to the fridge.
How does it compare with a French-door refrigerator?
A side-by-side gives tall, narrow compartments and door dispensing. French-door models usually offer wider fridge shelves and a pull-out freezer drawer, but cost more at this capacity.
Is it Energy Star certified?
No. It is not Energy Star certified, so expect higher running costs than a certified model of similar size.
What is in the box?
The refrigerator ships with its shelves, crisper and door bins installed. Check that the water line and any required parts are included with your order.
Where is the Maytag 24.5 Cu. Ft. Side-By-Side Refrigerator cheapest?
