Our take on the Foukus 63 inch Round Shade Floor Lamp with Shelves

The Foukus 63-inch round shade floor lamp combines a light with three open shelves, so it works as a reading lamp and a small storage piece in one footprint. The LED bulb switches between 3000K, 4500K and 6500K, and each shelf is rated to hold up to 50 lbs. The black metal and engineered wood frame suits modern and traditional rooms. It is a budget shelf lamp rather than a design piece, and its 4.2-star rating from 13 reviews is a small sample.

Questions and answers

Is the Foukus shelf floor lamp worth it?
If you need light and shelf space in one spot and want a bulb included, it is a reasonable budget pick. Its 4.2-star score comes from only 13 ratings, so treat it as a modest signal.
How do the three color temperatures work?
The included bulb switches between 3000K warm, 4500K neutral and 6500K cool white. You change the setting at the lamp, so you can go warm for evenings and cool for reading or tasks.
How much weight can the shelves hold?
Each of the three tiers is rated for up to 50 lbs. That covers stacks of books, a plant and framed photos, but keep heavy items low for stability.
What is in the box?
You get the lamp, the bulb, all necessary tools and clear instructions. No extra bulb purchase is needed to use it.
How tall is it and will it fit a small room?
It stands 63 inches tall with a round shade, so it reaches about chest height on most adults. The shelf base takes more floor space than a slim pole lamp, so check the corner or wall space first.
When is the price likely to be lowest?
Shelf floor lamps like this tend to drop during back-to-school and Black Friday sales. Check the price history before buying to see whether the current price is above or below its usual level.
