Our take on the AllModern Juaquin 59.5'' Dimmable LED Floor Lamp

The AllModern Juaquin is a 59.5-inch slim bar floor lamp with an integrated dimmable LED, a metal shade and body, and a foot switch. Its narrow 8-inch footprint suits tight corners and reading nooks, and the warm color temperature gives a softer glow than cool-white LEDs. It comes in gold, black and chrome finishes. Pros
  • Slim 8-inch footprint fits tight spots
  • Integrated LED never needs a bulb change
  • Dimmable with a foot switch, so no bending or reaching
  • Warm color temperature is easy on the eyes at night
  • Metal shade and body feel sturdier than plastic lamps
Cons
  • Integrated LED is not replaceable; the lamp's life is the LED's life
  • Only one light, so it lights a corner rather than a whole room
  • Foot switch means the cord must stay reachable
  • 59.5 inches is tall for low ceilings or behind low furniture
  • Warm-only color temperature limits task use

Questions and answers

Is the Juaquin floor lamp worth it?
It is a reasonable pick if you want a slim, dimmable accent lamp with a modern look and no bulb shopping. If you need bright room lighting, a wider shaded lamp will serve you better.
Can I replace the LED?
No. The LED is integrated into the fixture, so when it fails the lamp has to be replaced. Treat the rated LED life as the lamp's practical lifespan.
How bright is it?
It is a single warm-white LED meant for accent and task light, not room-filling brightness. It works best beside a sofa or chair rather than as the only light in a room.
Does it work with a dimmer switch or smart home?
It dims through its own foot switch. It is a standard plug-in 120V lamp, so it does not need a wall dimmer and has no app or voice control.
What are the dimensions?
It stands 59.5 inches tall with an 8-inch width and depth, so it fits in narrow gaps. Check your ceiling height and furniture before buying.
When is it cheapest?
Floor lamps from furniture brands usually drop during holiday sales and end-of-season clearances. Watch the price history on this page for a dip below the recent range.
