Questions and answers
- Is the 10-pack worth it over buying singles?
- If your foundation needs more than a few vents, yes. At $254.92 for ten at ArchitecturalDepot.com as of November 4, 2026, you get a matched set in one finish and one size.
- What size opening does each vent fit?
- Each vent is 18 1/2 inches wide by 9 3/8 inches high with a 2.125-inch depth, so it fits standard foundation openings of that size. Measure your rough opening before ordering.
- Can the louvers be closed in winter?
- No. These are fixed louvers, so air flows year-round. If you need to shut off airflow, look for a manual or automatic damper vent.
- How much airflow does each vent provide?
- Each vent has 50 square inches of net venting area. Check your local code for the vent area your crawl space requires before choosing a count.
- Does it come with a screen or pest guard?
- The listing does not mention a screen or pest guard. Plan on adding mesh behind the louvers if insects or rodents are a concern.
- When is the price lowest?
- Only two stores list it new, so the spread is narrow. The $254.92 at ArchitecturalDepot.com as of November 4, 2026 is the best new price recorded.
