Will these fit my foundation vents?

They are made for 16 in. x 8 in. foundation vents. Measure your opening before buying; other sizes will not fit.

Do they keep animals out of the crawlspace?

Yes. The covers block the vent opening to deter debris and animals from getting in. They still allow some airflow through the vent.

A 2-pack of aluminum foundation vent covers with springs. Spray foam for air sealing is sold separately.

Can I install them myself?

Yes. They nail to floor joists or replace a foundation block, so basic tools are enough for most crawlspaces.

Is $11.99 a good price?

It is the lowest of three stores pricing it new as of November 4, 2026, so it is a fair price for a 2-pack. Compare against other stores if you need more than two.

Our take on the Foundation Vent Covers

These are aluminum covers that mount over standard 16 in. x 8 in. foundation vents to keep debris and animals out of the crawlspace. They nail to floor joists or replace a foundation block, and the mill-finish aluminum resists corrosion outdoors. A 2-pack runs $11.99 at Spence Hardware & Supply as of November 4, 2026, the lowest of three stores pricing it new.
