What is the NPK of Happy Frog Citrus & Avocado?

It is 7-3-3: 7% nitrogen, 3% available phosphate and 3% soluble potash. Of the nitrogen, 6.5% is slow release.

How much area does a 4 lb bag cover?

Fox Farm does not print a single coverage figure on the bag. Rate depends on tree size and soil test; apply lightly around the drip line and water in rather than piling it against the trunk.

Is it really organic?

Yes. It is OMRI listed for organic production and registered with CDFA as organic input material.

Can I use it on other fruit trees or vegetables?

It is blended for citrus and avocado, but the 7-3-3 ratio works for many trees and shrubs that want steady nitrogen. Heavy fruiting or flowering plants may need more phosphorus and potassium.

When is the best time to apply it?

Apply in early spring as growth starts and again lightly in early summer. Avoid heavy feeding in late fall, when citrus and avocado are slowing down.
