Is 1080p enough for a 43-inch TV?

At normal viewing distance, 1080p looks sharp on a 43-inch screen. You only gain from 4K on larger screens or when sitting very close.

Does it support Netflix and YouTube?

Android TV gives access to the Google Play store, so you can install Netflix, YouTube and other streaming apps. Google Cast also lets you send video from a phone.

Can I mount it on a wall?

Yes. It ships with a stand, and the flat panel can be wall-mounted with a VESA bracket, which is not included.

Is it good for gaming?

It has a Game Mode and a 60Hz panel, which is fine for casual console play. Serious gamers will want a set with HDMI 2.1 and a higher refresh rate.

The TV, a stand with mounting accessories, and a remote control. HDMI and power cables should be checked against the listing before you buy.

Our take on the FPD 43-Inch 1080p Android TV

The FPD 43-Inch is a budget LED television with a 1920x1080 panel, HDR10 support and a 60Hz refresh rate. It runs Android TV with Google Assistant and Google Cast, so you can stream, mirror a phone or control it by voice. Two HDMI ports and built-in WiFi cover the basics. It is a plain 1080p set, not a 4K one, so it suits a bedroom, kitchen or second room more than a main living-room screen.
