Our take on the FPD 32-inch Smart TV 720p HD

The FPD 32-inch Smart TV is a budget 720p LED set running Samsung's Tizen platform, so it gets Netflix and other streaming apps without a stick. It has two HDMI ports, Wi-Fi Direct, Bluetooth and HDR10 support, though the 240-nit panel limits how much HDR can do. At $149.97 at Walmart as of November 3, 2026, it sits at the low end of what 32-inch smart TVs cost.

Questions and answers

Is 720p good enough for a 32-inch TV?
At 32 inches, 720p looks acceptable from normal couch distance, but text and fine detail are softer than on a 1080p set. If you sit close or use it as a monitor, step up to 1080p.
Does this TV have Netflix and other apps built in?
Yes. It runs the Tizen platform with Netflix and other streaming apps, so no streaming stick is required. You still need a Wi-Fi connection.
Can I mount it on a wall?
Yes, it supports wall mounting. You will need a VESA bracket, which is not included, and the set is light enough for most small mounts.
Is HDR10 useful on this TV?
Only marginally. The panel peaks around 240 nits, so HDR content will not show the bright highlights HDR is known for. It will still play HDR10 sources without issue.
How many devices can I plug in?
There are two HDMI inputs and a USB port. That covers a streaming box and a game console, but a third device will need a switch.
Is $149.97 a good price?
It is a low price for a 32-inch smart TV and matches the budget tier. Only one store listed a new price as of November 3, 2026, so compare before buying if you want 1080p instead.
Where is the FPD 32-inch Smart TV 720p HD cheapest?
At Walmart, for $149.97, as of our latest check.
What do buyers say about the FPD 32-inch Smart TV 720p HD?
Rated 3.5 out of 5 from 28 ratings.
