Is this TV bright enough for a sunny room?

Probably not. At 260 nits it is dim by 4K standards, so it suits darker rooms and evening viewing better than a bright, sunlit living room.

Does it support Dolby Vision?

No. It supports HDR10 only, and with 260 nits the HDR effect will be subtle.

Is it good for gaming?

It is fine for casual console play at 60 Hz, but there is no 120 Hz mode or variable refresh rate, so serious gamers should look elsewhere.

The TV, a stand, a remote and a power cable. Check the listing for the exact remote type and whether batteries are included.

Can I mount it on a wall?

Yes, it supports wall mounting. You will need a VESA bracket sized for a 43-inch set; confirm the pattern before buying.

Does it have enough ports for a console and a soundbar?

Two HDMI ports cover a console and a soundbar, but anything more needs a switcher. Bluetooth 5.2 can also pair headphones or a speaker.

Our take on the FPD 43-inch 4K UHD Google Smart TV

The FPD 43-inch 4K UHD Google Smart TV is a budget LED television with Google TV built in, so you get the Google Play store, Chromecast-style casting and Google Assistant voice search without a streaming stick. It has a 60 Hz panel, HDR10 support, two HDMI 2.1 ports, Bluetooth 5.2 and two speakers with Dolby Digital Surround EX. Peak brightness is listed at 260 nits, which is dim even for entry-level 4K sets, so expect a modest HDR effect. It is a value pick for a bedroom, dorm or secondary room rather than a main living-room TV.
