Is the Contend v3 worth $109.95?

At $109.95 at Amazon as of November 5, 2026, it is the lowest of the four stores pricing it new. That is a fair price for a waterproof, spikeless walking shoe with a two-year waterproof warranty.

How is the v3 different from the v2?

The v3 keeps the Fresh Foam midsole, 10mm drop, CUSH+ insole and spikeless outsole of the v2 and updates the upper to a waterproof FantomFit build with a two-year warranty.

Is it really waterproof?

Yes. The FantomFit upper is waterproof and New Balance backs it with a two-year waterproof warranty, plus a welded forefoot water-guard.

Can I wear it off the course?

Yes. The spikeless NDurance rubber outsole has no cleats, so it is fine on pavement, in the clubhouse and for casual wear.

It comes in standard D width with a 10mm drop and a molded CUSH+ insole. Golf shoes often run true to size, but try your usual New Balance size first.

The best new price seen is $109.95 at Amazon as of November 5, 2026. End-of-season and prior-model clearances are when spikeless golf shoes usually drop further.
