Is the Frigidaire FDPC4221AB worth it?

At $239.00 at Smiths Appliance & Furniture as of November 6, 2026, it is one of the cheapest 24-inch built-ins you can buy. Expect basic cycles and a loud 62 dB run; if you want quiet operation or a stainless tub, spend more.

Frigidaire rates it at 62 dB, which is loud enough to hear from the next room. It suits a closed kitchen better than an open-plan one.

What cycles and options does it have?

Two cycles only. There is no quick wash, delay start, sensor clean or NSF-certified rinse, so you pick a cycle and start it.

Will it fit my 24-inch opening?

It is 24 inches wide and 24 inches deep, with height adjustable from 33.5 to 35 inches. Measure your cutout and check the door swing before ordering.

Does it have a stainless steel tub?

No. The interior is not stainless steel, which is one reason the price is low.

The lowest new price seen is $239.00 at Smiths Appliance & Furniture as of November 6, 2026, against a $329 list figure. Appliance sales around holidays are the usual time to check again.
