Is the Miele G 7986 SCVi K2O worth $4,099?

Only if quiet operation, automatic dosing and Miele's lifespan matter more to you than price. At $4,099 at SavvyHomez.com as of November 5, 2026, it costs several times a mid-range dishwasher, so compare against Miele's lower G 7000 models without AutoDos first.

How quiet is it really?

Miele rates it at 39 dB, which is among the quietest full-size dishwashers available. In an open-plan kitchen you will mostly hear water moving rather than the motor.

Do I have to use Miele detergent with AutoDos?

Yes. AutoDos works with Miele's PowerDisk cartridges, so you cannot fill it with supermarket powder or gel. You can still run it without dosing and add detergent by hand.

Does it work with Alexa and Google Assistant?

Yes. It connects over Wi-Fi and supports both Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant for starting cycles and checking status, alongside the Miele app.

What is included in the box?

The dishwasher itself, since it is fully integrated and needs a custom cabinet panel and handle that are not included. Check with the seller whether a PowerDisk starter cartridge is bundled.

When is the price likely to be lowest?

With only one store listing it new at $4,099 as of November 5, 2026, discounts are unlikely outside major appliance sales events. Watch for holiday promotions and Miele dealer offers.

Our take on the Miele G 7986 SCVi K2O

The Miele G 7986 SCVi K2O is a fully integrated, panel-ready dishwasher in Miele's top G 7000 line, finished in black and rated at 39 dB, one of the quietest full-size dishwashers sold. It adds Miele's AutoDos automatic detergent dosing, a 3D MultiFlex cutlery tray, and Wi-Fi control through Google Assistant and Amazon Alexa. The best new price is $4,099 at SavvyHomez.com as of November 5, 2026, from a single store. That is top-of-range money for a dishwasher, so the price is only sensible if you want Miele's build quality and quiet operation and can find no lower listing.
