Questions and answers

Is this crate big enough for a full-grown dog?
Only for very small adults. It is rated for 1 to 6 lbs, so it suits toy breeds and puppies, not medium or large dogs.
Does it come assembled?
No. It ships unassembled and folds out for setup, and no tools are included or needed.
Do I need a bed inside it?
Yes, a pad or bed is worth adding. The wire floor is hard on paws and small dogs do better with a soft surface.
Can I use it for travel?
It folds flat and is light, so it works for car trips and visits. It is not a crash-tested carrier.
Is $16.65 a good price?
It is a low price for a wire crate this size, and it is the only new price listed as of November 3, 2026. There is no recent range to show whether it has been cheaper.
How do I clean it?
Wipe the wire with a damp cloth and wash the pad separately. The tray-free wire floor means accidents can drip through, so place it on a mat.
Where is the Frisco Fold & Carry Single Door Collapsible Wire Dog Crate, XX-Small cheapest?
At Chewy.com, for $16.65, as of our latest check.
