Is this guitar worth it for a beginner?

Yes, if you want a full-size instrument at low cost. The 25.5-inch scale, 22 frets and included gig bag, strap and cable cover the basics. Expect to pay a shop for a setup to get the action right.

What pickups does it have?

Two humbuckers in an H-H layout, which give thicker, louder tone with less hum than single coils. That suits rock, metal and high-gain playing more than clean, glassy tones.

How big and heavy is it?

It is a full-size guitar with a 25.5-inch scale and weighs about 6 lbs 2 oz. That is light enough for long practice sessions and standing gigs.

What comes in the box?

The guitar, a gig bag, a strap, an instrument cable, a whammy bar and two Allen wrenches for adjustment. You still need an amp and a tuner.

Is the $90.00 price a good one?

It is the best new price found, $90.00 at Mad Notes as of November 4, 2026, and only two stores list it new. At that level it is a low-risk starter guitar rather than an investment.

Full‑Size Electric Guitar – Double Cutaway, Blue Lightning Finish, H‑H Pickups

Overview

This full‑size electric guitar delivers a bold, modern look with its eye‑catching blue lightning finish , giving the instrument a striking stage presence whether you’re practicing at home or performing live. Built with a solid basswood body , it offers a balanced, versatile tone that works well for rock, metal, blues, and high‑gain styles. The H‑H pickup configuration provides thick, powerful output with reduced noise, making it ideal for players who want strong rhythm tones and smooth, saturated leads.

Aesthetic & Build

The black and dark‑blue lightning finish sets this guitar apart visually, creating a dramatic contrast against the double‑cutaway body shape. The basswood construction keeps the guitar lightweight and comfortable, while the maple neck and maple fingerboard add brightness and snap to your playing. Metal tuning machines offer stable tuning, and the enclosed machine heads provide smooth, reliable adjustment. With 22 frets and a familiar 25.5" scale length, the guitar feels natural for both beginners and experienced players.

Equipped with dual humbuckers (H‑H) , this guitar is built for players who want:
