Our take on the Fundaze Outdoor Chair Cushion, Leaf

The Fundaze Leaf is a two-piece Adirondack chair cushion set with a 4-inch-thick seat and a 28-inch back, tied on with fabric ties. The cover uses WeatherGuard water-repellent fabric over a cotton fill, sized 20 inches wide so it fits most standard Adirondack frames. It is a budget-priced set aimed at softening hard outdoor chairs, but its 3.1-out-of-5 rating from 25 reviews signals mixed owner satisfaction.

Questions and answers

Is the Fundaze Leaf cushion worth it?
It is a cheap way to add 4 inches of padding to an Adirondack chair, but the cotton fill and 3.1 rating mean it suits covered porches better than open weather. Expect to replace it sooner than a foam-filled cushion.
Will it fit my Adirondack chair?
It is built for standard Adirondack frames: the seat is 20 inches wide and 18.7 inches deep, and the back is 20 by 28 inches. Measure your chair first, since wider or curved-back frames will not line up with the ties.
Can I leave it outside in the rain?
The WeatherGuard cover repels light rain, but the cotton fill absorbs water once it soaks through. Bring it in or store it during heavy rain, and let it dry fully before use.
How do I clean it?
Spot clean the cover with mild soap and water and air dry it. Do not machine wash or tumble dry, because the cotton fill will clump.
Does it come with both the seat and back cushions?
Yes, the set includes the seat cushion and the back cushion, both with ties. No chair or extra hardware is included.
When is the price lowest?
Outdoor cushion prices usually drop at the end of summer and around Labor Day clearance. Check the price history on this page before buying in spring or early summer.
