The Furmax Futon Sofa Bed is a convertible folding couch in gray faux leather that reclines flat into a sleeper. It stands out for its low 14-inch seat and back height, built-in cup holders, and a price that sits at the budget end of the convertible-futon market. It suits small apartments, dorms and guest rooms where a second bed is needed without much floor space.
Lowest price we've seen: $159.99 on Nov 2 at Walmart. Tracked across 1 store since Nov 2.
Ratings are mixed at 3.7 out of 5 from 14 buyers. Owners tend to like it as an occasional seat and spare bed for the money, while complaints center on firmness and build quality.
