- Is the GAOMON 20x20 carport big enough for two cars?
- Yes. At 20 ft by 20 ft it gives 400 square feet, enough for two sedans or SUVs side by side with room to open doors. A large RV or boat also fits if you leave the side panels off.
- How hard is it to assemble?
- Expect a full day and at least three or four people. The metal frame is heavy and the roof panels go up high, so lifting equipment or scaffolding helps. A level, firm base makes the job much easier.
- Can I leave the side panels off?
- Yes. The two side panels are removable, so you can run it as an open carport in summer and add them back for wind and rain protection. The front and back stay open either way.
- Does it hold up in high wind?
- GAOMON rates the frame for 140 mph wind loads, which is strong for this class. That rating assumes the frame is properly anchored to concrete or ground anchors, so the foundation matters as much as the frame.
- What is included in the box?
- You get the metal frame, peaked roof panels, two removable side panels, and a solar LED light with its panel. Ground anchors and tools are typically not included, so check before you build.
