Is an 8x10 rug really machine washable?

The label says washable, but an 8x10 rarely fits a home washer. Most owners spot clean or take it to a laundromat with a large drum. Check your machine's capacity before buying.

Does it need a rug pad?

Yes, on hardwood or tile. The backing is thin and the rug can slide, so a non-slip pad also adds cushioning.

Is the beige color true to the photos?

It reads as a soft beige with a faded floral print. In bright light the pattern looks lighter and more washed out than in listing photos.

How does it hold up with pets?

The low pile resists trapping hair and is easy to vacuum. Claws can snag the weave, so trim pet nails and vacuum regularly.

What size room does an 8x10 fit?

It works in a living room with a sofa and coffee table, or under a queen bed with room on the sides. Measure your space first; 8x10 is larger than many people expect.

Our take on the GAOMON Washable Vintage Floral Area Rug 8x10 Beige

The GAOMON Washable Vintage Floral Area Rug is an 8x10 rectangular rug in beige with a faded, vintage-style floral pattern. Its main draw is that it is machine washable, which is rare for a rug this size. The low-pile, modern-contemporary look suits living rooms, dining rooms and bedrooms. It is a budget-tier import rug, so expect a thin profile rather than plush pile.
