Is a box spring needed with this bed?

No. The frame includes slats, so a mattress sits directly on them. That also means you skip the extra cost and height of a box spring.

What sizes does it come in?

The listed size is Full/Double. If you need Queen or King, check the brand's other listings before buying.

Is the frame wood or metal?

The frame is wood with a scalloped upholstered headboard in velvet. Wood frames are quieter than metal ones but heavier to move.

Is $152 a good price?

It is the only new price listed as of November 6, 2026, so there is no recent range to compare it to. Judge it against other full platform beds with a headboard and slats included.

How do I clean the velvet?

Vacuum it with a soft brush and blot spills right away. Avoid soaking the fabric, since velvet can water-spot.

Does it suit a kid's room?

The princess-style scalloped headboard and low platform profile fit a kid's or teen's room. The velvet is softer to clean than painted wood, so plan on spot cleaning.
