Is this rug worth it?

For a low-cost 8' x 10' in a busy room, yes. It is thin and synthetic, so expect durability and easy cleaning rather than plush comfort.

Does it need a rug pad?

A pad is recommended. At 0.15 in thick it adds little cushioning, and a pad keeps the flat weave from sliding on hard floors.

Will it fit under a dining table?

Yes. An 8' x 10' rug seats a standard table with chairs pulled out, and the low pile lets chairs slide without catching.

Yes. Vacuum regularly and blot spills with a mild detergent; the synthetic flat weave tolerates spot cleaning better than deep pile.

The rug only. A rug pad is sold separately, and the rug may arrive rolled with creases that flatten after a few days.

Watch for seasonal sales and clearance events at major rug retailers. Check its price history here to see whether the current price is below its usual range.

Our take on the nuLOOM Glenette 8' x 10' Area Rug, Rust

The nuLOOM Glenette is an 8' x 10' flat-woven area rug in a rust colorway with a subtle spot pattern. At 0.15 in thick it lies nearly flush with the floor, so doors clear it and chairs slide easily. It is handmade from synthetic yarn, which keeps it affordable and easy to clean. No current price was supplied, so compare live store prices against its own price history before buying.
