Is 8 lumens bright enough for stairs?

It is a marker light, not task lighting. It helps you see step edges in the dark but will not illuminate a whole deck or path.

Can these handle rain and winter weather?

The IP44 rating covers splashes and light rain. Driving rain, standing water or snow buildup can get past the seal, so mount them where water drains away.

How long do the batteries last?

Runtime depends on sun exposure and the built-in rechargeable cell. Expect a few hours after a full sunny day, and expect capacity to drop after a year or two of use.

Do I need to wire them or hire an electrician?

No. Each light is self-contained with its own solar panel and battery, and mounting hardware is included.

Are they warm white or cool white?

Cool white only. There is no warm white version in this set.

When is the best time to buy?

Solar garden and deck lighting usually drops in price in late summer and around Black Friday. Compare the current price with its recent range before buying.

Our take on the Gigalumi Stainless Steel Solar Deck Lights Set

The Gigalumi Stainless Steel Solar Deck Lights are a 6-pack of small cordless LED lights that mount on stairs and deck edges and switch on automatically at dusk. Each unit puts out 8 lumens of cool white light from four integrated LEDs, runs on a 1.2V solar cell, and carries an IP44 rating, so it handles splashes and light rain but not full exposure to heavy weather. The stainless steel and PP housing is compact at about 3.9 by 1 by 3.1 inches. No current price was provided for this set, so check the latest best price against its recent range before buying.
