Is the 300-sheet capacity realistic?

Treat 300 sheets as a maximum under ideal conditions. Most guillotine trimmers cut cleanly with far fewer sheets, and thick stacks tend to shift or tear.

Can it really cut metal?

The listing says paper and metal, but a paper guillotine is not built for sheet metal. Do not rely on it for metal cutting without confirming with the seller.

What size paper does the 12-inch cut handle?

A 12-inch cut length covers letter-size width and most legal-width trims. Longer sheets need a second pass or a larger cutter.

Is it safe for classroom use?

Guillotine blades are exposed during cutting, so adult supervision is needed. Look for a blade guard or safety latch before buying for a classroom.

When is the best time to buy?

Office and school supplies often drop during back-to-school and January sales. Compare the price across stores before buying.

Our take on the GIVIMO 300-Sheet Paper Cutter 12-in

The GIVIMO 300-Sheet Paper Cutter is a 12-inch guillotine trimmer with a black base and a stated 300-sheet capacity. It is aimed at heavier trimming jobs in offices, print shops and classrooms rather than light home craft use. The listing also claims compatibility with metal, which is unusual for a guillotine trimmer and should be treated with caution. No current store price was provided, so its price position against the market cannot be stated.
