GJX 1080P HD 360 Rotating Mini Dash Cam

Our take on the GJX 1080P HD 360 Rotating Mini Dash Cam

The GJX 1080P HD 360 Rotating Mini Dash Cam is a tiny, budget-priced camera that records 1080p video and has a lens body that swivels 360 degrees. It is sold as a dash cam but the listing also pitches it for indoor and outdoor surveillance, so it is a general-purpose mini recorder rather than a dedicated car camera. At $13.95 at Walmart as of November 3, 2026, it is the only new price listed and sits at the bottom of the dash cam market, far below name-brand models. Expect basic hardware at this price: no GPS, no screen worth mentioning, and no driver-assist features.

Questions and answers

Is the GJX mini dash cam worth $13.95?

At $13.95 it is a low-risk way to try a dash cam or add a second camera angle. Don't expect the reliability, app support or parking features of $50-plus brands.

Does it record in 1080p?

Yes, the listing rates it at 1080p HD. Actual sharpness and low-light performance at this price are usually well below premium dash cams.

What comes in the box?

The listing does not spell out the contents. It gives only the camera, packaging weight and size, so confirm the mount, cable and charger with the seller before buying.

Can I use it for indoor surveillance?

The listing says indoor and outdoor use, and the 360-degree rotating body helps aim it. It has no stated night vision, motion alerts or cloud storage, so treat it as basic recording only.

How much storage does it support?

The listing gives no memory card type or maximum capacity. Check with the seller whether it takes a microSD card and what size it accepts.

When is it cheapest?

Only one new price, $13.95 at Walmart as of November 3, 2026, is listed, so there is no recent range to compare. Watch for markdowns around major sales events.
