Questions and answers

Is the Glarry Burning Fire bass good for a beginner?
Yes, it covers the basics: full-size 4-string body, 24 frets and an amp in one purchase. Expect to pay a shop for a setup so the action and intonation are right.
What comes in the box?
The listing bundles the bass with a practice amp. Check the listing for a cable, strap and wrench, since bundle contents vary by seller.
Is $104.40 a good price?
It is the only new price listed, $104.40 at Walmart as of November 4, 2026, so there is no competing store to compare against. At that level it is cheap for a bass plus amp, but you get beginner hardware.
How does it compare with a Squier or Ibanez starter bass?
Those cost more but usually arrive better set up with stronger pickups and hardware. The Glarry wins on price and the included amp; the name brands win on build quality and resale.
Does it need a setup?
Most owners of budget basses adjust the truss rod, action and intonation after unboxing. Budget for a professional setup if you are not comfortable doing it yourself.
Is it active or passive?
It is a passive bass with two single-coil pickups, so no battery is needed. Plug it into the included amp or any bass amp with a standard cable.
Where is the Glarry Full Size 4 String Electric Bass Guitar Burning Fire with SS Pickups and Amp, Black cheapest?
At Walmart, for $104.40, as of our latest check.
