Is the Greenworks CrossoverZ worth $5,777.46?

It makes sense if you want a zero-turn with no gas, oil or exhaust and you already value the 60V battery platform. At $5,777.46 at Amazon as of November 4, 2026, you pay a premium over gas zero-turns of similar deck size.

How long does it run on one charge?

Greenworks rates it at up to 60 minutes and up to 2.5 acres with all six 8 Ah batteries. Expect less in tall, wet grass or on slopes, where the motor draws more power.

How long does recharging take?

About 90 minutes with the three included turbo chargers. That is faster than charging six batteries on a single standard charger.

Can it bag, mulch and side discharge?

Yes. Side discharge and mulching are standard, and a bagging kit is sold as a separate variant.

What comes in the box?

Six 60V 8 Ah batteries, three turbo chargers, and the mower with its 42-inch deck. No bagger unless you buy the bagging variant.

Does it handle hills?

Greenworks rates it for slopes up to 15 degrees with adaptive traction control. Steep or wet hills are where runtime and traction suffer most.
