Our take on the Gymax Men's Left-Handed Complete Golf Set

The Gymax Men's Left-Handed Complete Golf Set is a full starter package for left-handed men, bundled with a stand or cart bag in blue. Complete sets like this typically cover driver, fairway wood or hybrid, irons, wedges and putter, so a new golfer can get on the course with one purchase. At $205.99 at Target as of November 3, 2026, it sits at the low end of what complete left-handed sets cost, where name-brand boxed sets usually run $300 to $500.

Questions and answers

Is this set worth it for a beginner?
Yes, if you are left-handed and want to start cheaply. It covers the clubs a new player needs and includes a bag, so you can play immediately without buying pieces separately.
What clubs are in the box?
A complete set of this type normally includes a driver, a fairway wood or hybrid, irons, a wedge, a putter and the bag. Confirm the exact club list with the store before ordering, since bundle contents vary.
Is it right-handed or left-handed?
It is left-handed, made for men who swing from the left side. Right-handed golfers should look at the right-handed version of the same set.
How does it compare with name-brand starter sets?
It costs less, often by $100 or more. Name brands use better shafts and grips and hold resale value, but for casual play this set covers the same basics.
When is the best time to buy?
Complete sets usually drop during spring sales and end-of-season clearance in late summer and fall. At $205.99 at Target as of November 3, 2026, it is already near the bottom of the category.
Does it come with headcovers?
Budget complete sets often include headcovers for the woods and sometimes the putter. Check the listing's included-items list to be sure.
Where is the Gymax Men's Left-Handed Complete Golf Set cheapest?
At Target, for $205.99, 60% off, as of our latest check.
