Are 5mm elbow sleeves enough support for heavy bench press?

They give light compression and warmth, which suits volume pressing and general training. For max attempts, most lifters move to 7mm sleeves for stiffer bracing.

How do I pick the right size?

Measure around the elbow with the arm slightly bent and match the brand's size chart. A snug fit is normal; if it slides down during sets, it is too loose.

Can I wear them for both elbows at once?

Yes. They are sold as a pair, so you can sleeve both arms for pressing or overhead work.

How should I wash neoprene elbow sleeves?

Rinse in cool water with mild soap after sweaty sessions and air dry away from heat. Skip the dryer, which can warp the neoprene.

When is the best time to buy them?

Prices vary by store and sales events. The $33.25 eBay price as of November 4, 2026 is near the low end of the range across the six stores listing them.
