Is the Hensley worth the price?

If you want a solid-wood dresser that should last decades, yes. If you are furnishing on a budget, a veneered dresser costs far less but will not hold up as long.

How does it compare with Room & Board's other dressers?

The Hensley is wider than most six-drawer models at 60 inches, so it suits larger rooms. Narrower Room & Board dressers fit tighter walls but offer less top surface.

Does it come assembled?

Room & Board typically delivers its wood furniture assembled, though you should confirm delivery details at checkout. Expect a two-person delivery for a piece this size.

What are the drawer dimensions?

Room & Board lists overall dimensions of 60 by 33 by 20 inches but does not publish individual drawer sizes. Measure your folded clothes and check the drawer depth in store if you can.

When is the best time to buy?

Room & Board runs occasional sales, often around holidays. Watch the price history here to see whether the current price is above or below its usual level.

Is the white finish durable?

A factory white finish on solid wood is durable, but it shows scuffs and dust more than natural wood tones. Wipe it regularly and use felt pads under items on top.

Our take on the Hensley

The Hensley is a six-drawer dresser from Room & Board, built in a mid-century style with a white finish and measuring 60 inches wide, 33 inches tall and 20 inches deep. Room & Board is known for US-made solid wood furniture, and the Hensley's clean lines and wide top make it a natural fit for a primary bedroom. Its price sits at the upper end of what a six-drawer dresser costs, reflecting solid-wood construction rather than veneered particleboard.
