Is the York 3-seat sofa worth $2,299?

If you want a US-made hardwood frame and a seat height that is easy to get in and out of, yes. You are paying full price, since Room & Board is the only new listing at $2,299 as of November 4, 2026, so compare it against similar US-made sofas rather than waiting for a markdown.

How does the York compare with deeper, lower sofas?

The York has a 23-inch seat depth and 19-inch seat height, so you sit more upright and rise more easily than from a 25-inch-plus lounge sofa. If you want to sink in and stretch out, a deeper model will suit you better.

Will the cushions shed feathers?

The seat and back cushions use a down blend, and Room & Board notes some feather loss is normal. Plan on fluffing the loose cushions regularly and expect occasional feathers on the floor.

What are the dimensions?

It measures 98 inches wide, 35 inches deep and 29 inches high, or 36 inches with the back cushions. The seat is 85 inches wide inside, 23 inches deep and 19 inches high.

What comes in the box?

The sofa and its cushions. Delivery is typically scheduled, and buyers report careful, professional delivery.

When is the best time to buy?

Room & Board rarely discounts this sofa, and it is the only new listing at $2,299 as of November 4, 2026. Watch for store-wide sales or floor-model offers rather than expecting a price drop on the York itself.
