Our take on the Hisense RoamView
The Hisense RoamView is a 32-inch portable 4K display with an IPS panel and a built-in battery rated for up to 10 hours. It carries a 117° wide-angle camera, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.3, HDMI 2.1 and USB 3.0, plus 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. That mix points to a screen built for streaming and video calls away from a wall outlet rather than a plain monitor. No current store price was provided, so check the price history before buying.

Questions and answers
- Is the Hisense RoamView worth it?
- It depends on whether you need a battery-powered 32-inch 4K screen. If you move a display between rooms or work off-grid, the battery and camera justify it. If it stays on one desk, a cheaper wired 32-inch 4K monitor does the same job.
- How long does the battery last?
- Hisense rates it at up to 10 hours, and a full charge takes about 3 hours. Expect less at high brightness or with the camera running.
- Can I use it as a second monitor for a laptop?
- Yes. HDMI 2.1 and USB 3.0 let you connect a laptop or console, and the 4K IPS panel is sharp enough for documents and spreadsheets.
- Does it work for video calls without a PC?
- It has a 117° wide-angle camera, Wi-Fi 6 and 128GB of storage, so built-in calling apps can run on the device itself. Check which apps are preinstalled before relying on it.
- When is the best time to buy it?
- Portable displays usually drop during Black Friday and back-to-school sales. Watch the price history for a dip below the recent range before buying.
