Our take on the Home Decorators Collection Grayson 36 in. W x 24 in. D x 34.5 in. H Assembled Plywood Farm Sink Base Kitchen Cabinet
The Grayson is a 36-inch farmhouse sink base cabinet from Home Decorators Collection, assembled and ready to install. It is built on a plywood frame with painted MDF Shaker doors and soft-close bi-parting doors, and it has no drawers or shelves so the space is open for a farm sink and plumbing. At $774.83 at Home Depot as of November 3, 2026, it is the only new price listed, so there is no cheaper store to compare against.

Questions and answers
- Is the Grayson sink base cabinet worth it?
- It is a reasonable buy if you want an assembled plywood farmhouse sink base and do not need drawers. At $774.83 at Home Depot as of November 3, 2026, it is the only new price listed, so compare it against local cabinet lines before committing.
- Does it fit a standard farmhouse sink?
- The 36 in. width suits common 33 to 36 in. apron-front farm sinks. The open base has no shelf, which leaves room for the deep apron and plumbing, but check your sink's exact dimensions and apron height before ordering.
- Are the doors soft close?
- Yes. The bi-parting doors use soft-close hinges, so they close quietly without slamming. There are no drawers, so there are no drawer slides to worry about.
- Is it assembled or flat-pack?
- It ships assembled. You set it in place, level it and attach the doors and hardware rather than building the box from panels.
- What is the cabinet box made of?
- The box and frame are plywood, and the Shaker doors are painted MDF. Plywood holds up better than particleboard around a wet sink, but keep the painted MDF door edges sealed and dry.
- When is the best time to buy it?
- Cabinet prices at Home Depot tend to dip during kitchen and bath sales and holiday promotions. Watch the price history and buy when it drops below the $774.83 listed on November 3, 2026.
