Our take on the Newport 24 in. D x 34.5 in. H Assembled Plywood Sink Base Kitchen Cabinet

A 36-inch-wide, 34.5-inch-high, 24-inch-deep sink base cabinet in Newport's Shaker door style, built from plywood and sold fully assembled. The open back and wide front give room for a double-bowl sink and a garbage disposal, and the Shaker frame suits both painted and stained kitchens. At $590.22 at Home Depot as of November 3, 2026, it is the only new price listed, so there is no cheaper new option to compare against right now.

  • Standard 36-inch width fits most double-bowl sinks
  • Shaker door style matches common cabinet lines
  • 24-inch depth lines up with standard base cabinets
Cons
  • $590.22 is a lot for one base cabinet
  • Only one new price listed, so little room to shop around
  • No finish or door color options shown in the specs
  • Sink base has no drawer, only doors and a false front

Questions and answers

Is this cabinet worth $590.22?
It is a fair price for an assembled plywood sink base in this size, since most rivals at this price are particleboard or ship flat. If you can wait, compare against other Newport sizes before committing.
What sink size fits a 36-inch sink base?
A 36-inch sink base typically takes a sink up to about 33 inches wide, leaving room for the cabinet sides. Measure your sink's outer rim before ordering.
Is the cabinet really assembled?
Yes, the listing describes it as assembled, so the box and doors arrive built. You still need to level it, secure it to the wall and cut plumbing openings.
Does it match other Newport cabinets?
It uses Newport's Shaker door style, so it should match other Newport Shaker base and wall cabinets. Check the finish name on your existing cabinets before mixing lines.
When is the price lowest?
Cabinet pricing at Home Depot tends to dip during kitchen and bath sales in spring and around major holidays. The current $590.22 at Home Depot is the only new price listed as of November 3, 2026.
