Is the Honda HRX-BE worth $1,299?

That depends on how much you value the Honda deck and drive system. At $1,299 at Amazon as of November 5, 2026, it is a premium price for a residential mower, and only one store lists it new, so there is no cheaper option to fall back on.

How big a yard can it handle?

Honda rates it for a quarter acre or less. Larger lawns will mean more mowing time and more wear on a residential-grade machine.

Is it hard to move around?

It weighs 111 lb assembled. That is heavy for a walk-behind mower, so expect to need help lifting it into a truck or up steps.

What comes in the box?

The mower ships with its charger included. Check the listing for the battery and any grass bag or mulching plug before you order.

How long is the warranty?

It carries a 1-year limited warranty. That is shorter than the multi-year coverage some competing mowers offer.

There is only one new price listed, $1,299 at Amazon as of November 5, 2026. Watch for seasonal mower sales in spring and end-of-season clearance in fall.

Our take on the Honda HRX-BE

The Honda HRX-BE is a residential walk-behind mower built around Honda's 21-inch HRX deck and its self-propelled drive system. It is a heavy machine at 111 lb, so plan on garage storage and a firm push to load it into a truck. At $1,299 at Amazon as of November 5, 2026, it is the only new price listed, so there is no cheaper store to compare against right now.
