How much floor does the 12-piece set cover?

Each tile is 25 by 25 inches, so 12 tiles cover about 52 square feet when laid edge to edge. Buy a second set if you need to fill a larger room.

Is half an inch thick enough for a home gym?

Half-inch EVA is fine for yoga, stretching and bodyweight work. It is thin for dropped dumbbells or heavy racks, which need denser rubber mats.

Can the tiles be used outdoors?

They are waterproof and wipe clean, but EVA foam softens in direct sun and heat. They work best indoors or on a covered patio.

Wipe with a damp cloth and mild soap. Vacuum the seams regularly, since crumbs and pet hair collect where the tiles interlock.

Do the tiles have a strong smell when new?

New EVA foam often has a slight plastic odor. Air the tiles out for a day or two before laying them in a small room.
