The Hoover Dual Power Max Pet FH54011 is a corded upright carpet washer built for pet households. Two counter-rotating brush rolls scrub deep into pile, a HeatForce fan pushes warm air to speed drying, and the brush housing has an antimicrobial coating to limit odor. It weighs 21 lb and stands 43 in tall, so it is a whole-room machine rather than a spot tool. The latest best price is $229.99 at Best Buy as of November 3, against a recent range of roughly $200 to $270.
Lowest price we've seen: $176.00 on Nov 1. Tracked across 1 store since Nov 1.
Owner feedback is mixed at 3.9 out of 5 from 1,395 ratings. Most praise the cleaning power and how much dirty water it pulls out of carpet; complaints center on weight, water pickup and reliability.
