Is the Hoover Spotless Mini worth it?

For small spills, pet accidents and car seats, yes. At $69.99 at The Home Depot as of November 3, 2026, it costs far less than a full-size carpet extractor. Skip it if you need to clean whole rooms of carpet.

How does it compare with a full-size carpet cleaner?

It uses the same spray-and-extract method but with a 0.1 gal tank and a handheld body. A full-size machine covers large areas in one pass; the Mini is for spots and upholstery.

Does it need batteries or charging?

No. It is corded, so it runs from a wall outlet as long as you need. The trade-off is that you are tethered to the cord's reach.

What comes in the box?

The cleaner, a trial bottle of Hoover cleaning solution and the hose with its Self-Clean Port. Check the listing for which nozzle tools are included, since Hoover sells some tools separately.

Spot cleaners usually drop around Black Friday and spring cleaning sales. The current $69.99 at The Home Depot as of November 3, 2026 is already near the bottom of its recent range.
