Our take on the Hosim 1/10 RC Truck 4WD Brushless Buggy Cars, MAZEK RTR 62+ MPH Hobby Grade High Speed Remote Control Car

The Hosim MAZEK is a 1/10-scale, 4WD brushless buggy sold ready-to-run. It pairs a 3670 2850KV motor and 100A ESC with a 5000mAh 3S LiPo for a claimed 62+ MPH and 25+ minutes of runtime, plus a 21kg steering servo and aluminum oil-filled shocks. It is a hobby-grade basher aimed at buyers who want real speed without building a kit. The 3S battery is included, and the ESC accepts 4S packs if you supply your own.

Pros
  • 62+ MPH claimed top speed from the 2850KV brushless setup
  • 4WD with a 21kg servo for stable steering at speed
  • Aluminum oil-filled shocks soak up jumps better than friction shocks
  • 25+ minutes claimed runtime from the 5000mAh 3S pack
  • ESC supports 4S LiPo for an upgrade path
  • Ships ready-to-run with battery and 2.4GHz radio
Cons
  • Nylon chassis and plastic parts wear fast in hard crashes
  • 62+ MPH is a claim; real speed depends on gearing, surface and battery
  • No charger details given, so budget for a proper LiPo charger
  • High speed makes it unsuitable for small yards or young kids
  • Replacement parts support is thinner than for big-name brands

Questions and answers

Is the Hosim MAZEK worth it for a beginner?
It is a lot of speed for the money, but 62+ MPH is not a beginner speed. Start on 3S in a large open lot and expect to break plastic parts while learning.
Can it really hit 62 MPH?
That is Hosim's claim, reached with the included 3S pack under ideal gearing and surface conditions. Expect lower real-world speeds on grass or loose dirt.
Can I run it on 4S LiPo?
Yes. The 100A ESC supports 3S and 4S packs. A 4S pack raises speed and heat, so check motor and ESC temperatures and watch for drivetrain wear.
What comes in the box?
The buggy arrives ready-to-run with the 2.4GHz radio, a 5000mAh 3S LiPo and the installed brushless motor and ESC. Confirm charger inclusion with the seller before buying.
How long does the battery last?
Hosim claims 25+ minutes on the included 5000mAh 3S pack. Hard running at full throttle will be shorter, so a spare pack is worth having.
Does it need a charger?
It uses a LiPo battery, so you need a LiPo-capable charger and a safe charging bag. Do not assume a wall charger is included.
