Is 32GB of RAM overkill for this laptop?

For web browsing, Office and streaming, yes; 16GB would be plenty. The extra memory helps if you run virtual machines, large spreadsheets or dozens of browser tabs at once.

Can this HP 15 play games?

Only lightly. Intel Iris Xe handles older and casual titles at low settings, but it is not a gaming laptop and has no dedicated GPU.

Is the screen good enough for photo editing?

Not really. At 250 nits and 45% NTSC it is dim and covers only a small part of the color gamut, so edited photos will not look accurate.

Does it have a backlit keyboard or fingerprint reader?

The listed specifications do not include a backlit keyboard or fingerprint reader. Confirm with the seller before buying if either matters to you.

What comes in the box?

The laptop and a 45W Smart AC power adapter. The optical drive is not included, and no mouse or sleeve is listed.

Which Windows version does it ship with?

Listings conflict: the specs say Windows 11 Pro while the description says Windows 11 Home. Check the exact edition with the seller before ordering.
