Is the HP 17.3-inch with Core i7-1355U good for gaming?

Only for light or older games. The 1355U uses integrated Intel graphics, so modern titles will run at low settings or not at all.

Can I upgrade the RAM or storage?

Storage is easy to expand through the M.2 slot. RAM upgrade options depend on the exact model, since some HP 17 chassis solder memory; check the specific configuration before buying.

Is a 17.3-inch screen too big to carry?

It is fine around the house or between desk and couch, but it is heavy for daily commuting. If you carry a laptop every day, a 14- or 15-inch model is easier.

Does it come with Windows 11 Home?

Yes, Windows 11 Home is preinstalled. There is no Pro license, so business features like BitLocker management need an upgrade.

Our take on the HP 17.3" 16 GB RAM 1 TB PCIe SSD

This is HP's 17.3-inch family and office laptop with a 13th-gen Intel Core i7-1355U, 16 GB of RAM and a 1 TB PCIe SSD, running Windows 11 Home on a 1920x1080 screen. The big screen and full-size chassis suit desk work, spreadsheets and video, but the U-series chip and integrated graphics keep it a general-purpose machine, not a gaming or creative one. Its best new price is $1,019.00 at Newegg as of November 7, 2026, the only new price listed.
