Questions and answers

Is the HP OmniBook 5 16 worth it at $719.99?
At $719.99 at eBay as of November 4, 2026, it is a fair price for a 16-inch touch laptop with 16GB RAM and a 512GB SSD. It makes sense if you want screen space and memory more than speed.
Is the screen good for outdoor use?
The 1920x1200 panel has a no-glare finish, so reflections are muted and it is easier to read near a window. Brightness is not specified, so direct sunlight will still be a struggle.
Can it handle gaming?
It uses integrated AMD graphics, so expect only light or older games at low settings. The 60Hz screen also caps smoothness at 60 frames per second.
Does it have a touchscreen?
Yes. The 16-inch display supports touch, which is uncommon on laptops this size and useful for scrolling and tapping through Windows.
How much RAM and storage does it have?
It ships with 16GB of RAM and a 512GB solid-state drive. That is enough for browsing, Office work and light photo editing, but video projects will need external storage.
