The HP Victus 15.6 is HP's entry-level gaming laptop, pairing a 13th-gen Intel Core i5-13420H with an RTX 4050, 16 GB of DDR4 RAM and a 512 GB SSD. The 15.6-inch 1080p IPS screen runs at 144Hz, which suits fast games better than the 60Hz panels common at this price. At $699 at Walmart as of November 7, 2026, it sits at the low end of what this configuration has sold for, so the current price is a strong one for the specs.

Owners generally see the Victus 15 as solid value for 1080p gaming, with the 144Hz screen and RTX 4050 called out as the highlights. Complaints tend to focus on the plasticky build, fan noise and battery life away from the charger.
