Is a ground cloth worth it for an Intex spa?

Yes if the spa sits on grass, dirt or gravel. It keeps grit and moisture off the base and lowers the risk of a puncture. On a smooth patio it matters less.

Does it fit every Intex spa?

It is 77 inches long and made for Intex spas. Check your spa's footprint against that before buying, since a larger spa will overhang the cloth.

Can I put it on concrete?

You can, but it is thin and adds almost no cushioning. On concrete the spa still needs a flat, solid surface underneath.

It is the only new price listed as of November 5, 2026, so there is nothing cheaper to compare it with. For a thin accessory cloth, that is on the high side.

The ground cloth itself. No stakes, straps or carry bag are included.

Our take on the Intex 11717 77 Inch Ground Cloth for Spa

The Intex 11717 is a 77-inch ground cloth made to sit under an Intex spa before you fill it. It puts a barrier between the spa base and grass, dirt or rough concrete, which helps protect the liner from punctures and keeps the base cleaner. It is a simple accessory, not a mat with cushioning. At $32 at eBay as of November 5, 2026, it is the only new price listed, so there is no cheaper new option to compare against right now.
