Is this a real hot tub or just a bubble spa?

It is an inflatable hot tub with 120 bubble jets and a heater that reaches 104°F. It has no directional massage jets, so the effect is bubbles rather than a targeted massage.

Intex rates it for four adults. The octagonal shape gives more floor space than a round tub of similar size, but four is a comfortable maximum.

Can I control it from my phone?

Yes. It connects over Wi-Fi, so you can set temperature and run the jets from the app. The control panel battery lasts about 48 hours per charge.

How much does it cost to run?

Running cost depends on your electricity rate and climate. The inflatable walls insulate less than a hard-shell tub, so keeping it at 104°F in cold weather uses noticeably more power.

What is the maximum water temperature?

104°F, the same ceiling as many built-in spas. The heater takes time to reach it from cold fill, so plan on heating overnight.
