IOAOI PuriResin Filter Media for Fish Tanks

IOAOI PuriResin Filter Media for Aquariums

The IOAOI PuriResin Filter Media is designed for fish tanks, providing an effective organic filtration solution. This 100 ml pack includes five units of a unique macro-porous synthetic polymer that efficiently removes nitrogenous compounds and waste produced by fish, corals, and plants, ensuring crystal-clear water.

This specialized filter media is distinct from traditional mixtures of ion exchangers or adsorbents. Its spherical and macroreticular structure features microscopic pores that significantly increase the surface area for contact with impurities. This design enhances its ability to remove both soluble and insoluble contaminants from your aquarium water. The media changes colour from light yellow to dark brown or black as it adsorbs waste, indicating when it needs regeneration. Regeneration is possible with a bleach and water solution, but caution is advised to avoid permanent fouling from certain slime coat products.
