Is the iScooter 500W fast enough for commuting?

It will hold around 15 to 18 mph in real use, with 21 mph only under ideal conditions. That is fine for bike lanes and short trips but not for keeping up with traffic.

How far can it really go on a charge?

Expect closer to 12 to 15 miles at mixed speeds with an adult rider. The claimed 21 miles assumes a light rider, low speed and warm weather.

Can I ride it in the rain?

The specs list no water-resistance rating, so treat it as dry-weather only. Wet roads also cut grip on the 8.5-inch tires.

How long does it take to charge?

About 5 hours with the included charger. There is no fast-charge option, so plan on charging overnight.

The iScooter 500W is a folding adult electric scooter with a 500W motor, a claimed 21 mph top speed and up to 21 miles of range.
