Are you a passionate musician seeking a stylish and reliable bass guitar Look no further than the Jackson X Series Spectra Bass SBXP IV. This innovative and high-quality instrument is designed to take your bass playing journey to new heights. It's a bold addition to Jackson's impressive lineup of neck-through-body bass guitars, offering modern style, flexible tone, and incomparable value. The X Series Spectra Bass SBXP IV is crafted with the gigging musician in mind. Its unique offset Spectra Bass body style features a poplar body with a distinct poplar burl top. This design includes a larger upper horn that evenly distributes weight throughout the instrument, ensuring perfect balance and ultimate playing comfort. The bass guitar's graphite-reinforced through-body maple neck with scarf joint delivers formidable sustain. It boasts a speed neck contour, a 12"-16" compound radius bound laurel fingerboard, and 24 frets, all contributing to superior playability. The SBXP IV is equipped to provide a full-sonic spectrum, catering to even the most versatile and progressive bassists. It houses dual passive medium-output humbucking pickups that create a dynamic foundation with punch, power, and note articulation. The wide-ranging tonal command is achieved through a versatile control layout. This includes a two-way toggle switch for pickup coil splitting, a three-band active EQ, a three-way toggle variable switch, blend control, and volume control with a push/pull selector. This selector allows you to bypass or engage the active circuit for the 3-band EQ, eliminating the risk of losing sound due to a dead battery. The four-string bass also features a HiMass hardtail bridge that enhances sustain and improves note attack. The X Series Spectra Bass SBXP IV is finished in a standout Desert Sand color, complete with a unique 2x2 color-matched headstock with an understated "J" logo and black hardware. The poplar body of the bass guitar offers a meaty, resonant tone with a distinguished upper midrange tone, similar to alder. The poplar burl top adds even more upper midrange, along with a distinctive wood grain pattern that pairs wonderfully with a variety of transparent finishes. In summary, the Jackson X Series Spectra Bass SBXP IV is a durable, high-quality, and innovative bass guitar designed for the adventurous player. It's not just an instrument; it's a journey into the world of superior sound and style.
